The next item on this agenda is the concrete and there’s a lot of it

Concrete truck arrived at 7.20am and some of us present

Watching “Blue” spread the concrete put us all to shame

A level and true floated finish – a professional at work

Inside is partly concreted but look what has to be moved.

Goodmans donated a load of builders mix and Peter boxed the veranda area for us

Hand mixed concrete by members produced another area of concrete veranda.

Inside and its base levelling time. Peter shows another member how its done

Damp proof laid and lapped mesh reinforcing in place ready for pouring concrete

Chute wasn’t long enough so it was all barrowed in place

The first placing of concrete was against the wall

Nearing the end of pour which was 6 cubic metres

A nice level surface to match the adjacent slab

Another handmix pour to the veranda area by members

Wall framing to back wall underway for full closure

Cladding nearing completion

Looking good inside and almost weatherproof

Inside wall partly lined – two layers for fire rating

Back wall now lined and awaiting the plaster
Shed complete and now fully operational
